The tribute isn’t a surprise, considering Nick Gordon already has a picture of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s late mother, Whitney Houston, inked on his other arm.

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family has reportedly banned Nick from her bedside at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital, where she is in a medically induced coma following a near-drowning incident on January 31.

Police is now looking into the possibility of an altercation between Nick Gordon and Bobbi Kristina Brown more than an hour before she was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell home, TMZ reported.

Nick Cannon has altered the Mariah Carey tattoo on his back.

Nick Cannon, who recently announced he and Mariah Carey secretly separated a few months ago, got his estranged wife’s first name inked across his shoulders in large letters shortly before they tied the knot in 2008.

According to new reports, Nick Cannon recently had the tattoo transformed into an elaborate image of Jesus Christ.

Nick Cannon, who has three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with the 44-year-old singer, debuted his new artwork as he celebrated his upcoming 34th birthday on October 8 with friends, including Amber Rose, at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood on October 2.

According to TMZ.com, Nick Cannon’s new tattoo shows Jesus Christ on the cross with angel wings coming off the end the crucifix.

It is not yet known whether Mariah, who got Mrs. Cannon inked on her back before their wedding, plans to change or remove her tattoo.

Nick Cannon announced his split from Mariah Carey in August, saying: “There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months. My main focus is my kids.”

Kate Moss has revealed her supermodel body is quite literally a work of art – as she has a tattoo inked by Lucian Freud just above her bottom.

Kate Moss, 38, befriended Lucian Freud – widely considered one of the greatest artists of the 20th Century – when he painted her in the nude in 2002 while she was pregnant with her daughter Lila Grace.

In an interview in America, Kate Moss told how Lucian Freud – who learned how to give homemade tattoos using permanent ink and a scalpel during a brief stint in the Merchant Navy during the Second World War – offered to draw two tiny swallows at the base of her spine.

“He told me about when he was in the navy, when he was 19 or something, and he used to do all of the tattoos for the sailors,” she said.

“And I said, <<Oh my God, that’s amazing>>. And he went, <<I can do you one. What would you like? Would you like creatures of the animal kingdom?>>

“I said I liked birds and he replied, <<I’ve done birds. I’ve got it in my book.>> And he pointed down at a painting of a chicken upside down in a bucket. And I said, <<No, I’m not having that.>>

“And then he said, <<Maybe I should just do you>>. And I thought, I’m not going to have a girl on my a***. So we decided to do a flock of birds.

“I mean, it’s an original Freud. I wonder how much a collector would pay for that? A few million?

“If it all goes horribly wrong I could get a skin graft and sell it! It’s probably the only one on skin that’s still around, because when he was in the navy he was about 19. Can you imagine?”

Kate Moss, who this week launched her new book, Kate, has often shown off the tattoo but the provenance of it has never been revealed until now.

She has several other tattoos including a heart on her left wrist, a small anchor on her right wrist and a small star on her ankle.

During the interview Kate Moss spoke movingly about being introduced to Lucian Freud – who died in July 2011 at the age of 88 – after naming him in an interview as the person she would most like to meet. Two days later, Lucian Freud’s fashion designer daughter Bella called and said the artist would like to meet her.

Kate Moss revealed: “I was, <<Oh my God!>> Bella said, <<He just wants to go for dinner with you. Don’t be late>>. So I went to the house and he started [the nude painting] that night. Couldn’t say no to Lucian. Very persuasive. I phoned Bella the next day and said, <<How long is it going to take?>>

“She said, <<How big is the canvas?>> I said, <<It’s quite big>>. She said, <<Oh dear, could take six months to a year>>.”

The painting took nine months to complete, with the model sitting seven nights a week from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. It was sold to an anonymous bidder at auction in 2005 for £3.9 million ($6 million). Kate Moss said of that time: “I could not be one minute late. He was really powerful. You wanted to please him. But I wish I hadn’t posed like that.

“It’s just the first thing I did – I just fell on the side of the sofa and he said, <<That’s fine>>, and started painting. It’s not like modelling where you can change it. I had a dead arm.”

The supermodel also told Vanity Fair magazine of the famous photograph of the pair cuddling in bed in 2010 when Lucian Freud was recovering from an accident. She said: “I took all these flowers, those little ones he loved .  .  . and he was in bed.

“He pulled back the covers and went, <<I’ve been keeping it warm for you>>.

“I love the picture. I just got under his arm. Lucian was always really kind. I adored him.”

This is the second tattoo Justin Bieber has obtained in a matter of weeks.

Despite his tender age the teen has a collection of tattoos.

Justin Bieber underwent his first inking of a bird on his hip at the tender age of 16, and followed it with the Hebrew word for Jesus on his ribcage when he and his dad opted to get matching tattoos during a trip to Israel.

Continuing with his collection of religious tattoos, Justin Bieber later had an image of Jesus etched onto his left leg.

In March Justin Bieber had a praying hand inking etched onto his leg, which is thought to represent the power of prayer and the Almighty.

And in July he debuted a tattoo on his right arm – the Japanese Kanji symbol for music.

Bobbi Kristina Brown and her brother-turned-boyfriend Nick Gordon have once again been inked.

The couple showed off their new body art in a series of new Twitter pictures.

Cuddling up on the bed together, Bobbi Kristina Brown, dressed in a revealing blue lace crop top and grey tracksuit bottoms, displayed a music note design on the side of her stomach.

Nick Gordon, 22, meanwhile, has revealed a lion design on his right bicep.

The pair, who lived together as brother and sister for more than a decade before their mother’s death, is seen looking extremely intimate in the snaps.

With their arms wrapped around one another, they appeared to be posing on the bed.

The new images come as Nick Gordon’s grandmother has said that she approves of the pair’s controversial romance and insisted that Bobbi Kristina Brown is doing well following her mother’s death.

“Bobbi Kristina is on the right path,” Maxine Gordon told website Celebuzz.

“If it wasn’t for my grandson, I think it would have been a different outcome for her.”

“They are doing fine together as a couple,” she added.

“It was very difficult for Nick after Whitney’s death because he was one of the people who saw her in the hotel bathroom.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, and Nick Gordon lived together as brother and sister for more than a decade before their mother’s death.

Whitney Houston took Nick Gordon into her home at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him.

Nick Gordon was the singing superstar’s unofficially adopted son, and she treated him like family up until her death at the age of 48 due to an accidental drowning complicated by heart disease and cocaine use.

Whitney Houston, a prestigious six-time Grammy award winning singer, was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11, 2012.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has paid tribute to her mother Whitney Houston by inking a tattoo on her wrist in her honor.

Marking what would have been Whitney Houston’s 49th birthday today, the 19-year-old old and her boyfriend Nick Gordon had matching tattoos with Houston’s initials framed by four doves etched on their wrists.

In a series of tweets, Bobbi Kristina Brown wrote late last night: “Once it hits 12 am mommy it’s your birthday & I am going2celebrate it2thee fullest!”

She continued: “Bc YOU deserve it damn it, YOU deaerveNothingburtheBEST! [sic]”

Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is said to be dating her “adoptive brother” Nick Gordon, explained they were heading to a tattoo parlor for a session that would be filmed for her reality show, The Houston Family Chronicles.

The Lifetime series, expected to premiere in 2013, will follow the Houston family “as they take on their greatest challenge, supporting and guiding Bobbi Kristina Brown as she faces the world alone, without the one person she relied on the most, her mother”, according to the network.

Taking to Twitter, Bobbi Kristina Brown chronicled her tribute to Whitney Houston last night: “On the way with MYbooboo @nickdgordon :)heading2 #Inksomnia for our TATTSSS !this is for you mommy (: we love you, happybirthday OurladyXx

“You all will get2see! No worries :)we’ll show you & so will our #Realityshow ! #TheHoustonChronicals !make sure you look out for it nxtyr!”

Then, debuting the artwork, Bobbi Kristina Brown wrote: “Tat tat tatted YURP.. 😉 now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (: we love you @nickdgordon always&forever[<3].”

Whitney Houston’s only child, her daughter with singer Bobby Brown, is said to have grown closer to Nick Gordon in the wake of her mother’s February 11 death, when she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of room 434 at the Beverly Hilton.

Authorities called her death an accidental drowning, complicated by heart disease and cocaine use.

While the pair are not actually being blood relatives, Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon grew up together after Whitney Houston took him in at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him.

Nick Gordon was never formally adopted by the singer, and with Bobbi Kristina Brown’s mother passing away in February couple have reportedly been sharing her $1.2 million Atlanta home together.

The 22-year-old fuelled rumors about their relationship status in a tweet written last March, exclaiming: “Yea we got a little closer and what!!!”

Bobbi Kristina Brown subsequently listed Nick Gordon as her “partner” in a short bio on the micro-blogging website.

The pair batted away rumors of an engagement shortly after, while Bobbi Kristina Brown’s grandmother, Cissy Houston, branded their relationship “incestuous” in an interview with TMZ.

Despite family feuds over the matter, the Houstons are expected to unite later this month to honor Whitney Houston’s memory with the posthumous release of her final feature film, Sparkle.

The Salim Akil drama is scheduled to premiere on August 17.

Drake has made no secret of his persistent respect for the late singer Aaliyah and he revealed a second tattoo that he has had done in honour of the Grammy nominated artist.

Drake’s new ink, which sits on his rib cage, is also a homage to his home town area of Toronto, Canada, too.

The picture shows a large 416, which is the area code of his home city, down his side but it is only partially shaded in so that the four also looks like a one.

Aaliyah’s birthday is January 16th or 1-16, which the tattoo clearly shows.

It is the second permanent ink tribute that Drake has on his body after he had the singers face plastered on his back.

The black and white photo came shortly after Drake announced that he is planning to release a posthumous album with Aaliyah.

As well as performing some duets on the album he will also be the executive producer behind it.

The surprising move has not been well received by Missy Elliot and Timbaland, who have publicly said that they should be approached if he intends to go ahead with the project.

Timbaland told Power 105.1: “I know they’re trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and him and Missy.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but the proper to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. I produce it.

”But to put it on his album or to put it on his record or whatever, however it be, it would just not be right.”

Lucy Challenger from London travelled all the way to New York to finish a tattoo that has taken two years to complete.

The tattoo tourist flew to the New York City Tattoo Convention so a famed artist could put the finishing touches on a huge phoenix design on her left buttock, at a cost of $1,000.

Lucy Challenger’s love of inkwork should come as no surprise, as growing numbers of women are getting tattooed – and now more females than males sport body art in the U.S.

“I’ve had about 35 hours of work so far, and I’ve got another eight hours to go,” the actress told AFP.

“So I’m it bringing home for the women that, you know, we can sit there and just take it.”

The complex creation has cost Lucy Challenger thousands of dollars and two trips to Los Angeles and sessions in New York and London.

“It is a big investment. Not everyone can spend that amount of money, but it is once in a lifetime,” she added.

Lucy Challenger, 28, lay in a t-shirt and not much else while the artist, who had flown in from Los Angeles, perfected the design that stretched from the top of her thigh to her lower back.

She had an iPad to distract her while the tattooist worked on the phoenix for eight hours.

Lucy Challenger was just one of the many women who attended the convention last weekend, which attracted tattoo fans from across the globe.

Many travelled to be inked by some of the most famous artists in the world and pay thousands of dollars to go under the tattoo needle.

That is what drew Lucy Challenger to the show.

“Her work is unbelievable,” she said of her tattooist.

“And I was really attracted to the fact that she’s obviously a woman and I really wanted a feminine touch in my tattoo,” Lucy Challenger told AFP.

Many tattoo artists reported an upturn in the number of women looking for body art – and one parlor owner said he would be happy to turn his establishment into a female-only business.

“I like to do feminine and positive tattoo things,” said Billy Tarr of Totem Tattoo, who added that women usually picked inkings which are “not as violent” as men’s.

A recent survey even suggested that more women in the U.S. have tattoos than do men, with 23% going under the needle compared to 19% of males.
