Miley Cyrus talked about her relationship with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth a year after they officially broke up in September 2013.

At the time Liam Hemsworth, 24, was seeing his star rise in two hit Hunger Games films as the conflicted Gale Hawthorne, and Miley Cyrus, 21, was in the middle of her craziest year with the release of her album Bangerz, her world tour, and her new wild child post-VMAs image.

In a new interview with Australia’s Sunday Night television show, Miley Cyrus hinted that there will always be something between her and Liam Hemsworth.

“I love Liam; Liam loves me,” Miley Cyrus told Sunday Night.

When asked about her hit ballad Wrecking Ball, believed by many to be about Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus responded: “It’s about finding yourself. I had to set myself free.”
