Kirstie Alley famously shed 100 pounds during her stint on Dancing With The Stars last year and she looked ultra glamorous as she posed with her tome The Art of Men at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles.

Her shrinking waist was accentuated by a leather jacket, black mini skirt and leopardskin shoes teamed with black tights, while subtle eye make-up completed the look.

Kirstie Alley, 61, has been busy competing on the all-star season of the show with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy where she has proved to be a fan favorite.

And her slim frame is down to the grueling seven day a week practice sessions for the ABC series.

Kirstie Alley has attracted some controversy with her book The Art of Men, in which she has admitted to falling in love with Patrick Swayze during the filming of their 1985 telemovie North and South.

Kirstie Alley recently admitted to falling in love with Patrick Swayze during the filming of their 1985 telemovie North and South.

Now, Kirstie Alley has revealed details about how she propositioned her late co-star, who she claims rejected her at the time because she was “drunk”.

Putting to rest rumors of an affair, Kirstie Alley, 61, recalls in her new book, The Art of Men, telling the married actor: “I want to make love with you. I just don’t care anymore, let’s just do it.”

In her new book, The Art of Men, Kirstie Alley says it all unfolded after a night of partying with the late actor, who had completely charmed her on set.

The actress says she never cheated on her husband at the time, Parker Stevenson. But she considered it.

Patrick Swayze, who was married to his wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi, didn’t accept her offer, however.

Brushing off her advances, Kirstie Alley recalls him telling her: “No. Come on, you’re drunk. Kirstie, you don’t really want to do it. You’re not that kind of girl.”

Kirstie Alley earlier this week claimed the two shared an “intense attraction” when they first met.

On Monday night’s Entertainment Tonight, Kirstie Alley said she tried to avoid “going down that road” but they ultimately fell in love.

“Both of us were married. We did not have an affair,” the actress said.

“But again, I think what I did was worse.

“Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you’re married you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It’s doubly bad.”

Patrick Swayze died from pancreatic cancer in 2009.

Kirstie Alley also told Entertainment Tonight that although she’s friends with Patrick Swayze’s widow, who asked Alley to speak at her husband’s funeral, she is uncertain if Lisa Niemi is aware of their relationship.

Her revelations come after she described Look Who’s Talking Now co-star John Travolta in a shock interview on 20/20 with Barbara Walters last Friday.

Kirstie Alley was married Parker Stevenson at the time, and John Travolta was single when the shot the movie, which was released in 1989.

She told Barbara Walters her attraction to John Travolta was dynamic, adding: “It took all the power I had not to run off with him,” insisting they, too, did not have an affair.

Kirstie Alley went on to make two sequels with John Travolta, Look Who’s Talking Too and Look Who’s Talking Now!

John Travolta married actress Kelly Preston in 1991, and the trio have remained close friends, she says.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night, Kirstie Alley said of their attraction: “The only good part of it is I didn’t turn it into a sexual relationship, which is really good. Because for me if I have sex with someone, I have to marry them.”

“My mother told me I would be a w***e if I didn’t marry someone I had sex with, so I was trying not to be a w***e.”

“Once you have sex with somebody else – I thank God I’m not that girl. But I wrote this story because it’s about men who influenced my life that I really love deeply… I’m proud of us. We chose not to.”

She also writes in her memoir Cheers co-star Woody Harrelson incessantly insisted they sleep together, in a “half joking and half serious” manner.

“We’re not sleeping together, I would say, half wishing I wasn’t married so we could,” she writes.

Woody Harrelson was not married when he portrayed naive barman Woody Boyd in the bar based comedy series from 1985 to 1993.

The actress was married to Bob Alley for seven years, starting in 1970.

Kirstie Alley tied the knot with second husband, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries star Parker Stevenson in 1983.

They divorced in 1997, and shared custody of their two adopted children.

Kirstie Alley admits she developed strong feelings Woody Harrelson while filming sitcom Cheers.

The actress, now 61, had to remind herself she was married to stop the temptation to embark on a passionate affair with Woody Harrelson.

“We’re not sleeping together, I would say, half wishing I wasn’t married so we could.”

Last week, Kirstie Alley admitted John Travolta had been the love of her life.

The actress fell for the actor on the set of their film Look Who’s Talking, which was shot almost 25 years ago, but she couldn’t act on her feelings because she was married to Parker Stevenson at the time.

Kirstie Alley said: “Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John. And be with John for the rest of my life. [He was the] greatest love of my life.”

This week Kirstie Alley has also claimed she and the late Patrick Swayze, her North and South co-star, were once “in love”.

She told Entertainment Tonight on Monday: “Both of us were married. We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you’re married you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It’s doubly bad.”

Kristie Alley insisted she is good friends with Patrick Swayze’s wife of 34 years Lisa Niemi Swayze and was even asked to speak at his funeral after he died of pancreatic cancer in 2009.

Kirstie Alley famously shed 100 pounds during the 12th season of Dancing With The Stars last year and it seems that she is still slimming down during the current All-Stars season of the show.

Kirstie Alley, 61, looked svelte in a black cowl-neck dress worn over matching leggings as she left rehearsals on Friday afternoon.

While the hue is always flattering, Kirstie Alley looked noticeably slimmer in the face and neck area.

The actresses paired her attire with some tan T-bar sandals and carried a metallic gold bag.

Make-up free, Kirstie Alley looked tired as she left the practice session, her hair in its usual disheveled state.

Earlier in the day as she arrived for her day of dancing, Kirstie Alley looked absolutely exhausted as she sipped on a cup of coffee, which clearly later perked her up.

As the oldest member of the show Kirstie Alley has certainly been put through her paces with the grueling seven day a week practice schedule so it’s no surprise she might be looking a bit worse for wear.

This All-Stars season of the show is particularly tough as celebrities who have previously competed and done extremely well on the show are given another chance to take the DWTS crown.

Kirstie Alley has still managed to keep her trim figure after famously shedding 100 pounds during season 12 of the hit show.

The actress once topped 230 pounds and recently said on the Dr. Oz show: “I know I’ve conquered [my weight battles], but you always have to keep it in check.

“My whole life I could eat whatever I wanted to eat, and we ate tons of food. I was lucky. I had a free ride, basically, until I was 54 and then all hell broke loose.”

In Kirstie Alley’s advert for QVC’s Organic Liaison, the actress is shown before and after her extreme weight loss.

In her advert, Kirstie Alley, 61, credits shredding pounds to the product.

However, a Californian woman has claimed that Kirstie Alley is a “liar”, and didn’t drop a staggering 100 lbs with the aid of the so-called weight loss tablets, and is now suing the star.

Marina Abramyan, who uses the product, claims that Kirstie Alley lost all of her weight when she was on Dancing With The Stars, according to the class action suit obtained by website TMZ.

The woman attributes Kirstie Alley’s slimline figure to vigorous dancing on the show and her low calorie diet.

She also alleges that Organic Liaison merely contains calcium and fibre, both of which are not proven weight-loss aids.

Marina Abramyan is suing for unspecified damages.

Kirstie Alley, who was born in Kansas, got her big break in the 1990’s on the hit comedy Cheers.

After the series ended, Kirstie Alley embarked on a movie career, but the roles later dried up when her weight spiraled out of control.

She served as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman from 2005 to 2008, however, she failed to reach her weight loss goals.

When Kirstie Alley appeared on DWTS last year, she began to shed weight rapidly and by the end of the series there was a vast difference in her figure.

Meanwhile Kirstie Alley recently wrote a memoir titled The Art of Men (I Prefer Mine Al Dente).

The tome is billed as a “candid and audacious memoir about her life and the men she has shared it with”.

The book’s Amazon entry also says it “delivers a down-and-dirty account of all the men she’s slept with, danced with, drank with, and the ones she’s loved and hated during her sixty years on the planet”.

Kirstie Alley, a high-profile Scientologist, will no doubt enjoy the notoriety she will garner from her tell-all book when it is released in November.

The book is also going to examine her weight battles, her successful spell on Dancing With the Stars and her journey into the world of science fiction geekdom when she starred in the Star Trek movie franchise.

Perhaps most exciting off all will be Kirstie Alley’s thoughts on starring in Cheers, which is one the most successful sitcoms ever in US TV history.
