Adele was the big winner at the 59th Grammy Awards on February 12, taking home five trophies.
Amongst her haul were three of the “big four” awards: Song of the year, record of the year and album of the year.
The last time someone achieved that was in 2012. And it was Adele.

Adele said she couldn’t accept the award for best album because Beyonce’s Lemonade had more fizz.
The British singer also declared her undying love for Beyonce: “I adore you and I want you to be my mummy,” she joked, as she gestured at the heavily-pregnant star.
Beyonce put on a biblical performance of Love Drought and Sandcastles from her record, which won best urban contemporary album.
Adele brought her tribute to George Michael to a juddering halt after veering wildly off key – but made it up to the star on take two.
Chance the Rapper beat Kanye West and Drake to best rap album. He then took the LA crowd to church with the help of a gospel choir.
David Bowie received five posthumous awards including best alternative album for his final LP, Blackstar.
Adele has been named Billboard’s top artist of 2012, while her hit record 21 was named top album of the year in the music magazine’s annual review.
Adele, 24, is the first to receive both accolades two years in a row.
The singer was also named top female artist, with hip hop star Drake named top male artist.
Former X Factor contestants One Direction rounded off a successful year of US invasion after being named top new artist and Maroon 5 were top group.

The honors for Adele come in a year which saw her win six Grammy awards and dominate the US charts.
Her second album 21 went straight to number one when it was released in March 2011 and did not leave the top 10 until the beginning of September this year. During that time, it spent 24 weeks at the top spot.
The year’s top three songs were Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know, Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe and Fun’s We Are Young respectively.
