Kensington Palace has released the first official photo of Princess Charlotte with her older brother, Prince George.
The palace tweeted the image of the royal siblings on June 6, having earlier described it as “very special”.
The picture is the first of four photos of Princess Charlotte that will be released Saturday, June 6. The candid shots were taken by the princess’ mother, Kate Middleton, who has a reputation as a “keen photographer,” at Anmer Hall, the family’s home in Norfolk.
On June 5, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Charlotte would be christened on July 5 by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Princess Charlotte’s christening will take place at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s second child was born on May 2 at London’s St Mary’s Hospital, weighing 8lbs 3oz.
Princess Charlotte is the fourth in line to the UK’s throne and her full name has been registered as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge.
