The name of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s second child – sister to Prince George – could be announced on Sunday, May 3rd.
The newborn princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, was delivered at 08:34 BST on Saturday, May 2nd, at St Mary’s Hospital in London, and weighed 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg).
Bookmakers have said Charlotte and Alice have emerged as the favorite names for the princess, followed by Olivia, Victoria and Elizabeth.
A spokeswoman for Ladbrokes said: “We’ve never known a day of royal speculation like it. Charlotte is the new favorite, but Olivia is the name on the nation’s lips.”
Soon we will know her name. The absence of knowledge hasn’t stopped the speculation. Elizabeth, Victoria, Alice and Charlotte have all attracted bets at the bookies.
Will Prince William honor his mother and choose Diana for one of the royal baby’s names?
