Frozen soundtrack becomes world’s biggest selling album in 2014

The soundtrack for Disney’s movie Frozen has become the biggest-selling album in the world in 2014, shifting 10 million copies.

The sales figures have been revealed by the IFPI in another report published in addition to the one we mentioned earlier.

The Frozen soundtrack sold 4 million more copies than its nearest rival, Taylor Swift’s 1989, which sold 6 million.

Global top five singles 2014:

  1. Happy – Pharrell Williams (13.9 million copies sold)
  2. Dark Horse -Katy Perry featuring Juicy J (13.2 million copies)
  3. All Of Me – John Legend (12.3 million copies sold)
  4. All About That Bass – Meghan Trainor (11 million copies)
  5. Let It Go – Idina Menzel (10.9 million copies)
