Jack Cooksey was the first person to buy the new Apple iPhone 6 in Perth, Australia, after queuing overnight.

Just moments after leaving the Hay Street store, Jack Cooksey dropped the new iPhone 6 while he was interviewed by Channel 9.

There were cries of shock from the crowd as his new gadget landed on the ground.

“All good,” said Jack Cooksey before rubbing the screen.

“I dropped it in a panic to get it open,” Jack Cooksey later explained.

“Luckily it’s covered in plastic, so it’s fine.”
