Paul Walker has been killed in a car crash in Los Angeles.
Paul Walker, 40, was a passenger in a Porsche sports car driven by a friend – who also died – when it crashed north of Los Angeles.
The actor was said to be attending a charity event at the time.
He starred in all but one of the films in the Fast & Furious franchise, the sixth of which opened in May.
Paul Walker also starred in the suspense drama Hours, a movie that is set for release this month.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said the crash happened in the community of Valencia.

My God… My God… I can’t believe I’m writing this,” Tyrese posted, along with this photo, to his Instagram page.
“All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength.. in his light. Love you brother,” Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson tweeted.
“Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P.,” Ludacris wrote.
“Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone,” -Jordana Brewster tweeted.
