Ireland Baldwin looks more like her mother Kim Basinger every day

Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, cut a striking figure as she took a stroll through New York City yesterday.

Ireland Baldwin, 16, wore her tousled hair over one shoulder, reminiscent of her actress mother Kim in her younger days.

White frilly shorts, a baggy navy blue v-necked top and flip flops completed the look as she headed out for lunch with a male friend.

Last week, Ireland Baldwin was spotted out with father Alec, 54, not long after his altercation with a New York Daily News photographer outside a court room.

A photograph of the fracas was splashed all over the U.S. newspaper, but Alec Baldwin told The Charlie Rose Show earlier in the week that he was a victim.

“The guy lunged and almost hit me in the teeth with the lens of the camera,” said the actor, who is engaged to yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.

“So I just pushed the guy away.”

Alec Baldwin’s relationship with his only daughter has come a long way since he left an infamous voicemail for her back in 2007, referring to her as a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.

Ireland Baldwin was the subject of a long drawn-out custody battle after the split between her famous parents, with their divorce finalized in 2002.
