Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s divorce has been finalized after months of wrangling over the final terms of the break up.

The 53-year-old Hollywood star has agreed to pay Amber Heard $7 million, which the actress says she will donate to two charities.

Amber Heard, 30, will get to keep the couple’s dogs, Pistol and Boo, who were at the center of scandal when she took them to Australia illegally in 2015.

She had accused Johnny Depp of domestic abuse – a claim he denies.

According to court documents, Amber Heard said Johnny Depp had been physically abusive to her, culminating in him throwing a mobile phone at her face during a fight in February 2016.

Johnny Depp’s lawyer denied the allegations, saying Amber Heard was “attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse”. Police officers attending the scene said they had found no evidence of a crime.

Amber Heard had filed for a restraining order, but this was dropped after the majority of the terms of the divorce were settled in August.

The divorce was only finalized this week because lawyers could not agree over whether Johnny Depp should make the payments directly to the charities or not.

Amber Heard said she would donate the money from the divorce settlement to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

The actress’ lawyer, Pierce O’Donnell, said it was a “great day” for his client, adding: “All Amber wanted was to be divorced and now she is.”

Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, said they were “all pleased to put this unpleasant chapter in Mr. Depp and his family’s lives behind them”.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp, who have no children together, were married for just under 18 months when they split in May 2016.

Johnny Depp has two children from a previous relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

Amber Heard has announced she will donate her $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp to two charities that work with abused women and ill children.

The actress will give half to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to prevent violence against women, and half to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Amber Heard said she hoped to “help those less able to defend themselves”.

She earlier accused Johnny Depp of striking her and throwing a mobile phone during a fight. He denied the allegations.

Announcing their divorce settlement on August 16, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp said their relationship was “intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love”.

In a statement, Amber Heard, 30, said: “Money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves.

“As reported in the media, the amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated. This is over and above any funds that I have given away in the past and will continue to give away in the future.”

She said the money donated to the ACLU would have a “particular focus to stop violence against women”.

The actress added: “I know these organizations will put the funds to good use and look forward to continuing to support them in the future. Hopefully, this experience results in a positive change in the lives of people who need it the most.”

Amber Heard married Johnny Depp, 53, in February 2015 and they announced their split in May 2016.

She then took out a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp obliging him not to get in contact and stay 100 yards away from her.

Their settlement came a day before a court hearing into the restraining order was due to take place. The order was then withdrawn.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp released a joint statement on August 16 saying: “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.”

News of the divorce settlement comes just a day before a hearing regarding the restraining order was due to begin.

The temporary order had ordered Johnny Depp not to contact Amber Heard, and stay 300 feet away from her, after she accused him of striking her and throwing a mobile phone during a fight earlier this year.

Johnny Depp, 53, had always denied abuse allegations made by his former wife.

Amber Heard, 30, filed for divorce in May and obtained the temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp a few days later.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, who were married for just under 18 months, also came to a financial settlement as part of their divorce.

“Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm,” the joint statement continued.

The statement said Amber Heard would be donating proceeds from the divorce settlement to an undisclosed charity.

Neither of the actors will comment further on the case.

Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm has been ordered to pay $995.5 million to his ex-wife Sue Ann Hamm in one of the largest-ever US divorce judgments, according to a court filing on November 10.

In an 80-page ruling following a more than 9-week divorce trial that ended last month, Oklahoma Special Judge Howard Haralson ruled that oil magnate Harold Hamm should pay his ex-wife a total of $995.5 million.

Although the award could make Sue Ann Hamm, 58, one of the 100 wealthiest women in the United States, according to Forbes‘ rankings, it is far smaller than the amount her lawyers sought and does not require Harold Hamm to sell shares of Continental.

Harold Hamm, 68, holds 68% of Continental, a stake worth nearly $14 billion.

The ruling is subject to appeal, but if accepted by both parties it would allow Continental’s CEO to put a contentious and time-consuming divorce behind him, without eroding his control of one of America’s most successful oil companies.

Following news of the judgment, Continental shares fell 1.6% to $54.22 per share. The shares have lost around 30% since July 1, in step with tumbling world oil prices.

Oklahoma-based Continental is a leading driller in the key Bakken Shale play of North Dakota and Montana, the largest US oil discovery in decades. Through his stake in Continental, Harold Hamm is believed to own more oil underground than any other American.

Harold and Sue Ann Hamm wed in 1988 and had no prenuptial agreement. For years, Sue Ann Hamm was also an executive at Continental.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher – who are still thrashing out a divorce settlement – had been at the same tech event in San Jose and shared a flight back to Burbank airport in Los Angeles.

As they walked through the arrivals area, Ashton Kutcher, 35, and 50-year-old Demi Moore appeared to be locked in intense, friendly and very genuine conversation.

Ashton Kutcher could be heard telling Demi Moore about what sounded like a project: “It could really work,” as the pair were approached by photographers and video journalists eager to capture the reunion.

They eventually ended the conversation and went their separate ways, but it seemed clear that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are back on cordial terms.

The sighting comes as a surprise as the latest on Hollywood’s former golden May to December couple suggested that Demi Moore was seeking spousal support from Ashton Kutcher, a contentious issue considering her already vast fortune.

According to TMZ.com, Demi Moore, who already has more in the bank than Ashton Kutcher, had demanded spousal support from her former partner.

Demi Moore was said to want Ashton Kutcher, now in a serious relationship with Mila Kunis who is at the Toronto Film Festival, to help pay for renovations she wants on her $25 million apartment in New York.

Ironically Demi Moore reportedly recently received $15 million from previous ex-husband Bruce Willis belatedly from their 2000 divorce.

A source told the New York Post: “Ashton and Demi are still not divorced, and no settlement has been agreed, even though they have been in negotiations for over a year.

“Ashton made a lot of money after they married, but he doesn’t believe he owes her as much as she is asking for.”

TMZ also reported that Demi Moore’s also unhappy about Ashton Kutcher setting up an online business and felt she should get a part of it despite him setting it up following their much publicized break up.

RadarOnline.com claims Ashton Kutcher has made $20 million from his investment in the tech firm and therefore Demi Moore was trying to get a $10 million share, but this looks unlikely now.

Although Ashton Kutcher is reportedly willing to hand over Demi Moore something in a bid to end the marriage, despite her net worth being $150 million – $10 million more than Kutcher.

As Ashton Kutcher didn’t have a pre-nuptial agreement when he married Demi Moore, it means that she may be entitled to a portion of his substantial earnings while they were together.

In her filed divorce papers, Demi Moore cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, stating the date of marriage as September 24th, 2005 and the date of separation as November 17, 2011 – two months after Ashton Kutcher’s alleged one-night stand with party girl Sara Leal.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are jointly worth a reputed $285 million and in the last year alone Ashton earned $24 million from the CBS show Two And A Half Men.

Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce in December, 2012 – a year after their split.

Demi Moore originally received a reported $90 million when she divorced Bruce Willis.

When a Nebraska woman faced with a court order to pay her ex-husband $50.12 as part of a divorce settlement, the aggrieved spouse ponied up the money in pennies delivered in Tupperware filled with rice and beans.

To add insult to injury, the unnamed woman wrote her husband a stinging farewell note.

“Andy, Here’s forty seven dollars and twelve cents in pennies,” the note read.

“The other three dollars paid for the containers that I used. Receipt is included if you want to return them…

“Oh! one last thing, I added beans and rice to remind you that you married a beaner : ) I hope you have a fab life! B/C I know mines 20x better without you in it!”

Photos of the coins divided into three plastic containers were posted Tuesday by the husband, identified only as Andy from Omaha, Nebraska.

The ex-husband clarified that the “beaner” reference – a racially charged slur used to describe people of Mexican heritage – comes from his wife’s tendency to call herself that in a show “pride”.

“She thought every single person looked at her negatively because she was Hispanic,” the man claimed.

The story has stirred much interest among the users of the popular site, with many commenters siding with Andy and condemning his ex-wife’s stunt.

At least one attorney has even offered to go after the woman to collect the $3 she supposedly owes him, claiming that she had no right to pay him in Tupperware.

In response to several requests from curious Redditors asking him to share the tale of his failed marriage, Andy wrote a lengthy post laying out the facts.

When ordered by a judge to pay her ex-husband $50.12 as part of a divorce settlement, an ex-wife ponied up the money in pennies delivered in Tupperware filled with rice and beans

When ordered by a judge to pay her ex-husband $50.12 as part of a divorce settlement, an ex-wife ponied up the money in pennies delivered in Tupperware filled with rice and beans

According to the Nebraska resident, he and his ex-wife had a great relationship before they got married, but everything changed soon after they said “I do”.

Andy wrote that his once hard-working and dedicated spouse quit her job, failed out of school, started neglecting her chores around the house and morphed into an all-around “angry person”.

The first signs of trouble appeared during the couple’s honeymoon, when, according to Andy, his bride declared that she is not happy with the location of their romantic getaway and forced him to take her home ahead of schedule.

And that was only the beginning. The already rocky relationship took a turn for the worse when the husband said he discovered that his newlywed wife had invited another man to stay with her for two weeks while he was visiting his parents.

The couple turned for help to a marriage counselor, and for a time things seemed to be looking up for the two, if it weren’t for some lingering trust issues.

Andy wrote that a year into their marriage, his spouse revealed that when they first started dating, she had been pregnant with a baby fathered by her old flame, but lost the child.

It all came to ahead when Andy decided to take a peek at his wife’s Facebook account, which she had gone to great lengths to shield from him.

“I found a conversation with the guy she was pregnant with had been talking our entire relationship,” he wrote on Reddit.

“Wat [sic] they were saying was she only married me because he got married, she had already signed divorce papers and was just waiting for me to sign (she didnt).

“Worst was that I found a conversation about her still planning to <<sleep with>> him two weeks from when I was reading the messages which was when the relationship was strongest.”

The jilted husband said that the final straw came when his wife threw a glass bottle at him, missing him by a few inches, and then shattered their entertainment center.

However, Andy has admitted that his wife was not entirely to blame for the failure of their marriage, and that he too had issues – like his tendency to play video games for days on end.

Lauren Silverman has today agreed a divorce settlement with her estranged husband Andrew.

Lauren Silverman, 36, who is believed to be 11 weeks pregnant with Simon Cowell’s baby, has already told friends that she is so in love with the music mogul, 53, that she wants to marry him.

Property millionaire Andrew Silverman filed for divorce last month, shortly after discovering his wife was pregnant by the man he once considered a close friend.

Andrew Silverman even cited Simon Cowell – whose fortune is estimated at $368 million – as a “co-respondent” in the court papers for adultery.

The deal was agreed in Manhattan just hours ago and both parties are said to be in New York – however they were not together to sign the deal. Lauren Silverman is said to have won half her $4 million pre-nup.

However, after a series of phone conversations and one top secret meeting with Simon Cowell, Andrew Silverman, 37, has agreed a settlement with his estranged wife – which includes a custody arrangement for their seven-year-old son Adam.

Today, Lauren Silverman’s attorneys, Robert Cohen and Bernard Clair, said: “The matter has been resolved and the parties have moved on.”

Although there are believed to be no plans for Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman to marry, they are a couple and Cowell has pledged to look after Lauren and his baby.

Simon Cowell may now make a public statement within the coming days.

It is believed that Lauren Silverman has won a share of the pre-nup, valued at $3-$4million she signed before her 2003 wedding to Andrew, valued at around $2million.

The New York Post reported that Lauren Silverman waited until her 10th wedding anniversary to break the news of her affair with Simon Cowell to her husband so the terms of her pre-nup would kick in.

Rupert Murdoch has filed for divorce from Wendi Deng because their marriage has “irretrievably broken down”, his spokesman announced today.

The divorce papers were filed at the New York State Supreme Court.

The News Corp boss and Wendi Deng, married in 1999 aboard a private yacht in New York, have two daughters together, Grace and Chloe.

In 2011, Wendi Deng famously leapt to her husband’s defense to slap a protester who threw a pie at him as British MPs quizzed him over phone-hacking.

Rupert Murdoch, 82, met his Chinese-born third wife in 1997 at a cocktail party in Hong Kong. They were married two years later, weeks after his second divorce.

Wendi Deng, 44, is 38 years younger than the Australian-born media mogul, who is said by Forbes to be worth $9.4 billion.

“I can confirm for the record that Rupert filed in New York State Supreme Court this morning for divorce,” Rupert Murdoch spokesman Steven Rubenstein told AFP news agency on Thursday.

The couple had a pre-nuptial agreement and have held shares in trust for their children.

So our business editor believes the divorce is not likely to lessen the magnate’s grip on his media empire.

Rupert Murdoch, now a US citizen, reportedly paid $1.7 billion in his divorce settlement from his last wife.

Wendi Deng, said to be the daughter of a factory director, was born in 1968 and grew up in the eastern Chinese city of Xuzhou before leaving for the US at 19 to study.

She worked in a Chinese restaurant in California before going on to graduate from Yale University in 1996.

Wendi Deng was later employed by Star TV, News Corp’s Asian satellite-television operation in Hong Kong, where she met Rupert Murdoch during one of his visits.

The divorce filing comes two days before News Corp is to be split into two companies, one for its entertainment assets and the other for its publishing business. Rupert Murdoch is to be chairman of both firms.

His global media portfolio includes the Wall Street Journal, television channels such as Fox News and Sky, and the 20th Century Fox movie studio.

Two years ago, his UK newspaper division became embroiled in a phone-hacking scandal, which led Rupert Murdoch to close one of the titles, the News of the World.

In July 2011, Wendi Deng jumped from her seat during a UK parliamentary hearing to slap a prankster who tried to shove a shaving-cream pie into Rupert Murdoch’s face.

Kris Humphries has finally decided to settle with Kim Kardashian in their divorce case after battling for 536 days, which is over five times as long as the marriage itself lasted.

According to sources, Kris Humphries backed down after no evidence of fraud perpetrated by Kim Kardashian emerged.

Kris Humphries, 27,  was then forced to consider mounting legal costs and the prospect of losing any pay-out from his estranged wife – a pre-nup would be invoked if the trial got to court.

Kris Humphries has finally decided to settle with Kim Kardashian in their divorce case after battling for 536 days

This means that the NBA player has most likely agreed to a divorce – as Kim Kardashian wished – and dropped his pleas for an annulment based on fraud, and sources are saying the judge has signed off divorce papers and dissolved the marriage.

Kris Humphries, who was ordered by the judge to attend Friday’s hearing so he could face fines for last no show, skipped the appointment.

Kim Kardashian acquitted herself well by refusing to revel in getting the verdict she wanted, and looked stunning in a beautiful, suitably black fitted dress.

Kris Humphries failed to show up today for a pretrial divorce hearing in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

The court date in question was a settlement conference, and required the NBA player’s attendance, yet the 28-year-old was a no show.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian is said to have turned up punctually for the hearing.

Ahead of the hearing, Kim Kardashian was seen heading the gym for her daily workout.

Sources tell TMZ that Kris Humphries was spotted in New York City at 1 a.m. on Friday morning.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are both expected to testify at the divorce trial, which will focus on their relationship and whether elements of it were staged for her reality show

The settlement conference was scheduled for 8.30 a.m., but the only New York to Los Angeles bound flight on Friday morning was 6.30 a.m., arriving in at LAX at 9.15 a.m.

That would mean that Kris Humphries would be have been late for the hearing anyway.

During the court hearing, Kim Kardashian reportedly sat in the jury box, hands crossed on her lap, as the case was called.

A judge sealed the proceedings, citing rules mandating confidentiality for divorce settlement discussions.

If an agreement cannot be reached, a public trial on Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ marriage is schedule to begin on May 6.

While Kris Humphries, who is seeking an annulment based on his claim their 72-day marriage was fraudulent, did not appear in court he was represented by three attorneys.

Kim Kardashian arrived under heavy security and was brought into the courtroom through a back entrance.

“I always wanted to be a juror,” the reality star joked to deputies before taking her seat.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are both expected to testify at the trial, which will focus on their relationship and whether elements of it were staged for the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kris Humphries has not yet laid out his specifics to support his fraud claim. He claims the marriage should be annulled because Kim Kardashian only married him because of her reality show.

Meanwhile Kim Kardashian is expecting a child with boyfriend Kanye West later this year.

Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are not on their sister’s proposed witness list, but their mother, Kris Jenner, will likely testify about the pair’s relationship.

Kris Humphries has not yet filed his witness list for the trial, which is expected to last a week.

Actress Katie Holmes was awarded just $400,000 a year in child support payments in her divorce settlement from Tom Cruise, according to new reports.

Katie Holmes, 33, signed a prenuptial agreement when she married Tom Cruise, 50, in 2006 which excluded her from his $250 million fortune.

According toTMZ, Katie Holmes will receive no spousal support from Tom Cruise. However, he is required to pay over $33,000 a month in child support for their six-year-old daughter Suri until she turns 18.

Tom Cruise will also pay for Suri’s medical and dental expenses as well as her insurance, education costs and college tuition. The money will reportedly be paid by electronic transfer.

The couple also agreed that their daughter will not attend boarding school, shooting down reports that Suri would be sent to a school which focused on Tom Cruise’s religion, Scientology.

Katie Holmes will have sole custody of Suri, however Cruise was granted “meaningful” visitation rights.

If their marriage had lasted more than 11 years, Katie Holmes, who earns a considerable amount less than her former husband, would have received half of Tom Cruises’ $250 million fortune.

“The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed,” her attorney told E! News recently.

“We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.

“We thank Tom’s counsel for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution.”

The settlement came just two months after Katie Holmes sensationally lodged the legal papers to end their five-year marriage.

Citing “irreconcilable differences” for the split, the actress requested sole legal custody and “primary residential custody” of Suri.

“We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri’s best interests,” the former couple said in a joint statement.

“We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents.”

Meanwhile it has been reported that Tom Cruise, who is currently filming the movie All You Need Is Kill in London, has thrown himself into work since the breakdown of his marriage.

Speaking to Grazia a source said: “Tom’s friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern.

“He is refusing to slow down and is trying to soldier on. He doesn’t seem to be himself. He hasn’t been working out like he normally does and doesn’t appear to be eating well at all. His clothes just hang off him.”

The source also told the magazine: “His way of dealing with this is to throw himself into his work, but as a result he’s not looking after himself, and he risks cutting himself off from people who care about him and want to make sure he’s OK.”

Tom Cruise has two other children Connor, 17, and Isabella, 20, from his marriage to actress Nicole Kidman.

Vanessa Bryant, who has two daughters with Kobe, now faces the tough decision of where to actually live as she continues her life as a single woman.

The mother-of-two will be able to choose from the estate that she was living in with Kobe Bryant before she filed for divorce, the estate her mother is currently living in, and also the new estate that has been under construction for two years and has just recently been completed.

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce from the NBA superstar husband last month, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

When the news broke, TMZ also reported that the couple had no pre-nuptial agreement, and that Vanessa Bryant had requested spousal support.

Vanessa and Kobe Bryant met when she was just 18 and she was working as a backing dancer in a studio where he was recording, though that material was never released to the public.

Vanessa Bryant is also said to be asking for joint custody of their two daughters – eight-year-old Natalia and five-year-old Gianna.

She is also asking that Kobe Bryant get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time.

Vanessa Bryant is being represented by Laura Wasser and attorney Samantha Klein, whose clients include Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Maria Shriver and Kim Kardashian.
