Duck Dynasty‘s Missy Robertson wrote on her Facebook page: „Jim Dillard, a professional fisherman and friend, has decided to raffle off his boat and donate the proceeds to the Mia Moo Fund! Thanks, Jim! So many cleft kids and families need our help.

„Win this boat from professional fisherman Jim Dillard and help the Mia Moo Fund in the process. See miamoo.org for more details and purchase your raffle tickets for only $20 today. http://www.miamoo.org/fundraisers/win-the-jim-dillard-boat.html

The Mia Moo Fund organization began in 2014 after Mia Robertson, daughter of Duck Dynasty’s Jase and Missy Robertson, completed surgery for her cleft palate.

Keep in mind that you do not have to be a Duck Dynasty member to be a generous person who gives to an important cause. If you have an old boat that you no longer use, you can donate it to a worthy cause and help raise money for various associations around the country.
All you have to do is contact an organization that accepts boat donations and they will get you started. You should also contact the charity if you have any questions about boat donation. As an added bonus, you will receive a tax deduction in exchange for your generosity.

Mia Robertson, the daughter of Duck Dynasty’s stars Jase and Missy Robertson, went under the knife on Friday to treat a cleft issue on her face.

Missy and Jase Robertson have been using Facebook to keep friends, family and fans up to date on the Mia’s progress.

“Almost done with all the pre-op appointments today. Was just told by one of the doctors that she was impressed with how well Mia is prepared for this major bone graft procedure for her cleft,” Missy Robertson wrote on Thursday.

“Surgery tomorrow at 11 a.m. We’re ready! God’s got this.”

Just after the surgery began, Missy Robertson shared a picture of a great many family members gathered at Mia’s bedside.

“Surgeon’s [sic] has been working on Mia for about 5 minutes,” Missy Robertson captioned the photo.

“They tell us she’s doing great! Here we all are right before she was wheeled away. Thanks for the prayers.”

About an hour after that, Missy Robertson came back with another update: “Great news! All went well. <<Textbook>> is the word the surgeon used. We are praising God and waiting to go see our baby girl. Thank you for all the prayers!!!!”

Jase Robertson took to Facebook with his own message of appreciation, as well, writing:“I really appreciate the outpouring of support, thoughts and prayers for Mia. Out of surgery, doing great, considering. #Blessed.”
