Duck Dynasty’s recently released Christmas album, Duck The Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, featuring several top country stars, is reaching No 1 in Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Duck The Halls debuted on October 29 and sold nearly 70,000 albums in its first week.

Now, three weeks in, it is the biggest debut country holiday album in the last decade, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Phil, Si, Willie, Jase, Korie, Missy, Sadie and the rest of the Robertson family show off their singing talents in the CD, include a few classics such as I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Silent Night as well as originals like Have a Hairy Christmas and a Happy Happy Happy New Year and Ragin’ Cajun Redneck Christmas, which Willie wrote with Dallas Davidson.

Although none of them had vocal experience except for Missy Robertson, Willie said they weren’t concerned.

“We’ve all sung in church our whole lives,” the Duck Commander CEO said, “and we do lots of karaoke.”

“There are funny parts, serious parts, a little prayer, some of our antics,” he said.

“It’s got us all over it.”

The Robertson family has invited special guests George Strait, Alison Krauss, Luke Bryan and Josh Turner to join them on the 13-track album, which was produced by Buddy Cannon.

Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson will be adding singer to her impressive resume, which already includes fashion designer and model.

Sadie Robertson made her modeling debut at New York Fashion Week on Monday, September 9, to show off her Sadie Robertson Live Original line during the Evening By Sherri Hill Spring 2014 show at the Trump Tower.

In addition to styling a black-and-white polka-dot ball gown, the A&E reality star walked down the runway in a beautiful, short beige dress.

Sadie Robertson’s parents, Willie and Korie, and other family members took a break from operating their Duck Commander company, which makes products for duck hunters, and traveled from Monroe, Louisiana, to support Sadie at the show.

“First time at New York Fashion Week,” Korie Robertson told Us Weekly.

“We’ve been to New York before, of course, but first time at Fashion Week and we’ve had a great time. We’re so proud and so happy about the partnership with Sherri Hill. She’s been awesome. And they’re a family business like we are, so we feel really great.”

Sadie Robertson said she likes to design dresses that are “unique” and “daddy-approved”, but she also has a celebrity fashion icon that she admires.

“I’ve been saying Carrie Underwood,” she said.

“She’s a country girl and she dresses very nice, classy.”

Korie Robertson also revealed that Sadie will be lending her voice to the upcoming Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas album.

“Sadie sings on it. Yeah, she has a couple of solos,” Korie Robertson said.

“And Willie wrote a song for it, so it’s really a lot of fun.”

Fans of Duck Dynasty will get a special treat this holiday season when the Robertson family release their own Christmas album.

Universal Music Group Nashville announced that the album, called Duck The Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas, will hit stores October 29.

The Duck Dynasty family has been in a Darius Rucker music video. They’ve hung out with Kellie Pickler, they’ve been to two CMT Music Awards shows, they are good buddies with Jason Aldean.

“A Robertson family Christmas album,” said Korie Robertson.

“And the title is, you can probably guess it, Duck the Halls.”

“The whole family’s going to be involved. It will be kind of a variety show-style music CD, and we got some surprises for you, so I think it’ll be a lot fun.”

“We do have some special guests, but we’re not announcing them yet,” she added.

“Got some things in the works and hopefully we’ll let y’all know about that pretty soon.”

Duck Dynasty follows the lives of the Louisiana-based Robertson family and their multi-million dollar company Duck Commander – a fabricator of top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys.

The family grew up singing in church and has many musical members who will be showcasing their talents on the album.

“Faith, family and ducks – in that order – have always been our priorities,” said reality star Willie Robertson, the CEO of Duck Commander.

He added: “Christmas is an important holiday for us not only because of our strong faith but also our holiday family traditions. We’re having a great time making this album. We hope you enjoy it.”
