Beauty and youth have become an important standard in today’s world. Everyone desires to remain young for as long as possible and would try anything to make that happen. But this is not the only aspect people consider when it comes to looking and feeling young. This is strongly related to the health of the entire body.

A vigorous and energic organism helps every aspect of one’s life, having effects on the social, professional and personal life. Even though women experience the aging process more intensely, men are just as affected by this. That is why both categories seek a method to prevent the hormones in their bodies from going haywire. This solution is represented by the HGH injections.

What are the HGH injections?

To understand what these injections are you need to know what HGH stands for. This is a human growth hormone that contains amino acids produced by the pituitary gland (the endocrine system). HGH is meant to contribute to the proper development of the sexual functions, growth, respiration, bone density, energy levels or insulin production. Thus, we desperately need this hormone in our lives.

The bad news is that as we age, the body tends to generate a smaller quantity of this hormone and from there everything goes in different directions. If you want to prevent that you need to supply yourself with HGH. And this is where the HGH injections come in handy.

Advantages of HGH injections

More energy – these injections revitalize your body giving it more energy, help fight against anxiety, depression and mood swings.

Muscles – in addition to other great benefits, HGH injections contribute to reducing fats and building muscle without exhausting training. The fat cells are burnt fast and for those people who combine these injections with constant workout, the results are even more spectacular.

Beauty – another great outcome is the effect that this hormone has over the skin and hair. Your skin will become more elastic covering up those nasty wrinkles and your hair will regain its vitality, colour and brightness.

Where to get these injections?

Due to today’s technology you can get HGH injections from a recommended and trustworthy supplier. The products made in Europe and the US are more likely to be quality ones. So make sure you gather as much information as possible before your buy them. Your health and beauty are very important, especially when it comes to putting substances into your body.

Remember to make decisions based on your body’s needs. Visit a doctor and get a prescription for HGH injections. This way you will be able to buy quality products, legally and without any concern. It is better to be safe, than sorry!

Science has evolved massively in the last decades and it will continue to do so. Keep up with the newest changes and let your body feel younger and healthier for a longer period without suffering. You won’t be the only one noticing these differences. You deserve it!

Supermodels, television stars and beauty insiders alike have come out to say they are now drinking their beauty products, but rather drinks that contain collagen, a protein in skin that gives it a youthful look.

The brands behind these drinks – including beauty’in Beauty Drink and Pure Gold Collagen – claim they boost collagen levels in the skin.

Brazilians can’t get enough of the stuff and in Asia, big beauty brands such as Shiseido have developed their own collagen shots.

According to analysts Datamonitor, the global market in such drinks is expected to rise to around $63.6 billion by 2014. But are they an anti-ageing miracle?

Or, given that Pure Gold Collagen sells for $55 for ten days’ supply and a bottle of Beauty Drink is $5.4, is it a triumph of marketing designed to relieve us of our cash rather than our wrinkles?

“I just haven’t seen any evidence that explains why taking collagen orally should improve the quantity of collagen in your skin,” says dermatologist Dr. Sam Bunting.

“The collagen in a drink is broken down in your stomach. There’s no direct channel to the skin.”

Despite the expert disapproval, there are plenty of testimonials on the Boots website from women singing the praises of the drinks. This might be because they also include vitamin C and vitamin E.

“These vitamins have been proven to be beneficial for the skin,” says Dr. Stefanie Williams, of London’s European Dermatology Clinic.

“They are also known for their ability to hydrate and moisturize.”

But you don’t need to spend a fortune on a collagen drink to get these vitamins.

Holland & Barrett sells 100 vitamin E capsules for $7 and 250 vitamin C caplets for $15, all of which will last a lot longer – and be more likely to work than a sugary “beauty drink”.

New studies suggest that upping the “good” bacteria in our skin is essential for our immune system and can also combat wrinkles, sagging and pigmentation.

Just as good bacteria in your gut can calm your stomach, boosting levels of it on your skin can restore your complexion’s youthful plumpness and glow.

The beneficial bugs work on the surface to maintain moisture and radiance and fight the bad bacteria that cause redness, sensitivity, spots and other infections.

The bacteria also penetrate the deeper levels to repair skin DNA and build wrinkle-preventing collagen. So it’s not surprising that skincare companies are getting on the bug bandwagon, with a host of ranges containing ingredients to increase “beauty bacteria”.

First off the blocks are Aromatherapy Associates, which has just launched a new line of soothing skincare that is rich in prebiotics, which encourage the growth of good bacteria.

Next week, skincare brand NUDE, whose fans include supermodel Helena Christensen, will re-launch its skincare with an anti-ageing ingredient called n-probiotic, a live micro-organism derived from yeast.

These smart bacteria stimulate the skin to produce its own anti-ageing collagen and hyaluronic acids. It is claimed that in lab tests this probiotic reduced cellular damage by up to 50%, reduced irritation by up to 35% and activated cellular renewal by up to 70%.

Next month will also see the arrival of Idealia from French brand Vichy. Idealia serum and creams contain a probiotic derived from fermented tea. The company claims it can create “ideal skin” by reducing dark spots and wrinkles, improving texture and boosting radiance.

These are big boasts, yet there is serious science to back up the buzz about bugs. The 2011 Nobel Prize went to a team who showed how skin bacteria act as an important immune system for the body. Further studies have shown that probiotics can improve eczema and fight off acne-causing bacteria.

Professor Richard Tester, a research scientist at Glasgow Caledonian University, is conducting studies with the prebiotic GMH (glucomannan hydrolysate), which is derived from a type of yam. His soon-to-be published studies show GMH can promote skin healing and treat acne.

“Because this prebiotic can penetrate the skin surface, it also helps regenerate skin from within, rebuilding collagen, reducing wrinkles and bringing back its natural glow,” he says.

However, this is not an excuse to stop cleansing – if we did, we’d be left with several hundred types of “bad” bacteria on our faces, living off our sweat, sebum and dead skin cells. When this happens, our skin becomes irritated so in response the body creates free radicals and a collagen-digesting enzyme. The result? Wrinkles and sagging.

Unlike traditional treatments for wrinkles and acne – such as retinols and benzoyl peroxide, which irritate the skin – bacteria beauty boosters are very gentle.

New research from Hillblom Center for the Biology of Aging, San Francisco, claims the secret to anti-ageing could lie with roundworms.

Biochemist Cynthia Kenyon and her team at the Hillblom Center for the Biology of Aging, have managed to prolong the life of roundworms six-fold.

The tiny roundworm has an exceptionally short lifespan; elderly at 10 days and dead within two weeks.

Cynthia Kenyon’s team have slowed the species’ ageing process and bred roundworms to the age of 84 days – which in human terms would make them 480 years old.

“You have something you never thought was possible,” Cynthia Kenyon told ABC News.

“These worms should be dead, a long time ago. But they’re not dead. They’re moving. They’re young.”

The reaserchers did it by manipulating one particular gene in its DNA, known as daf-2.

The same gene is present in humans and people who live to 100 tend to exhibit mutations to the gene, said Cynthia Kenyon at the Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) conference in Edinburgh.

Mutations to the daf-2 gene would help to explain why different animals have such significantly differing lifespans.

While the roundworm is dead inside a fortnight and the mayfly inside a day, tortoises can live for up to 188 years and koi fish can live to 200.

As a result of the research, Cynthia Kenyon claimed that youth-boosting drugs could be available within 15 years.
