It seems that the reality of the news is still sinking in for Tom Cruise.

Tom Cruise, who turns 50 tomorrow, was seen looking downcast today in Iceland as he boarded a helicopter at around 2:45 p.m. to take him to the set of his new movie Oblivion.

Jetting out of Reykjavik airport, the rain and dark clouds looming certainly matched his mood.

Wearing a pair of dark sunglasses the actor appeared shattered, hunching over as he sat in his seat.

Tom Cruise also looked as though he had pulled up the collar of his jacket and had his head down.

It seems the actor is still dealing with his wife’s decision to end their marriage.

The couple sensationally revealed they are divorcing on Friday, despite depicting the image of the perfect Hollywood family.

Tom Cruise said he was “deeply saddened” that his younger wife, 33, had filed for a separation.

He revealed the former Dawson’s Creek actress had initiated the split, bringing a dramatic end to one of Tinseltown’s most high-profile romances.
