A bizarre never-seen-before photo shoot shows a naked, pregnant and painted in gold Anna Nicole Smith just before her tragic passing in 2007.

The photo shoot was taken while Anna Nicole Smith was pregnant with her now five-year-old daughter Danielynn.

In the pictures, Anna Nicole Smith’s modesty is merely covered by her arm and a thick veil of the metallic paint.

The logo of the company is also stenciled on her baby bump in black, running down to her left thigh.

“As big fans of Anna Nicole, we felt a collaborative effort would be mutually beneficial,” a company spokesman has said.

“Unfortunately, the tragic events that followed so closely after the photo shoot proved to be overwhelming for the starlet.

“Out of respect for her and her family, the campaign was immediately shelved.”

According to Golden Palace.com, the golden-themed photo shot was Anna Nicole Smith’s idea, who called it “magical”.

“Like her persona, she wanted to capture the moment by doing something outrageous, memorable, and fun,” the spokesperson said.

They said that by releasing the pictures they were paying homage to the starlet’s “free spirit and zany sense of humour that captured a worldwide audience and countless devoted fans”.

Anna Nicole Smith died on February 8 2007 from an accidental drug overdose whilst staying at a hotel in Florida.

The starlet left behind one lasting legacy in the form of her daughter Danielynn, who is now five-years-old.

The little girl is growing up fast, and is the spitting image of her mother, who was aged just 39 when she passed.

Danielynn was named after her half-brother Daniel, who passed away after collapsing in his mother’s hospital room in the Bahamas while visiting his newborn sister.

Danielynn’s father, Larry Birkhead, was forced to establish paternity in a suit against Anna Nicole Smith’s then partner and lawyer Howard K. Stern.

Larry Birkhead has since done a good job of making sure that Danielynn who endured such tragedy around her during her first days on this planet, has a normal life.
