In an interview with Univision, Oscar De La Hoya, the former welterweight champion spoke about his marriage, drug and alcohol problems.
Oscar De La Hoya, 38, said:
“My drug of choice was cocaine and alcohol. Cocaine was recent. The last two years. And I depended more in the alcohol than the cocaine.”
Oscar De La Hoya admits infidelity, drug and alcohol abuse and suicidal thoughts.
During his appearance at the Spanish-language network, Oscar De La Hoya said he had at one time suicidal thoughts.
“Rock bottom was recently,” Oscar said.
“Within a couple of years, just thinking if my life was even worth it.
“I don’t have the strength, I don’t have the courage to take my own life but I was thinking about it.”
Oscar De La Hoya added he has been clean and for three months after going to rehab and attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
The great boxer, known as The Golden Boy, became the subject of a photo scandal in 2007. At that time, a stripper who claimed Oscar De La Hoya had cheated on his wife with her posted pictures of him costumed in fishnet stockings and high heels on the internet.
In 2007, Oscar De La Hoya claimed it wasn’t him in the photos and that the stripper was “out for money.”

“His head’s too small and it doesn’t even look like his body.”
Oscar De La Hoya continued to talk about his mistakes, saying he was unfaithful to his wife of 10 years, and that they temporarily separated.
“We are obviously not talking a Tiger Woods here, but I was unfaithful,” Oscar said.
Oscar De La Hoya has two daughters with Millie Coretjer, whom he married in 2001.
He also has a daughter with former beauty queen and Playboy model Shanna Moakler.
Oscar De La Hoya retired from boxing in 2009 after a 16-year career that won him 10 world titles in six divisions.

But to say the truth I can not believe it is HIM on those scandal pics. I dont think its HIM….
